Quality Legal Translation Services
Professional experience
I am a fully qualified legal translator/interpreter licensed to provide sworn translations and interpreting during court and all manner of official proceedings (license no. TP/378/05) with over 25 years of professional experience as an in-house translator for international law firms in Poland (Dentons, Salans, Hunton & Williams).
Quality. Timeliness. Accuracy.
My many years of experience in meeting clients’ expectations are my guarantee of professional quality, punctuality and linguistic competence.
Confidentiality
Sworn translators are subject to strict professional secrecy and data protection regulations but I am prepared to sign an additional non-disclosure undertaking upon request from clients with special confidentiality concerns.
Security
I prepare all translations in person, without hiring any subcontractors, in a secure computer environment.
Notwithstanding the above, if your translation request is large and urgent, I have a support team of equally experienced legal translators to fall back on to expedite the process.
Also, I have professional indemnity insurance.
Note: The fees for sworn translations prepared at the request of Polish courts, prosecutors’ offices, police and public administration, are set forth in the Regulation of the Minister of Justice of 24 January 2005 on the Fees for Sworn Translations and Interpreting (amended and restated text in Journal of Laws 2021, item 261)
I am a fully licensed certified (sworn) translator of documents from English to Polish and from Polish to English.
One standard page of a sworn translation consists of 1125 characters with spaces. The rules for preparing sworn translations are defined by law and the Code of Conduct for Sworn Translators. Please note that the latter stipulates that a properly prepared sworn translation must include descriptions of all seals, signatures, watermarks, small print, etc., which increases the volume of the translation subject to charge.
Individuals requesting non-urgent translations of documents for private use will be charged according to the official rates charged to courts, prosecutors, police and public administration, as set forth in the Regulation of the Minister of Justice of 24 January 2005 on the Fees for Sworn Translations and Interpreting (amended and restated text in Journal of Laws 2021, item 261), plus VAT (at the rate of 23%).
Urgent and business-related translations are charged at market rates.
There are two types of sworn translations — traditional and electronic.
If you request an electronic sworn translation, you will receive it by e-mail by the agreed deadline. If you choose the traditional form, you will be responsible for the cost of delivery.
I issue VAT invoices (VAT at the rate of 23%) for all my translations.
My many years of experience in meeting clients’ expectations are my guarantee of professional quality, punctuality and linguistic competence. Send me an e-mail for a free quote.
